Thomas of Charleston, South Carolina, born in Columbus, Georgia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 28, 2024 at the age of 68. He was predeceased by: his stepfather Raymond Beaugrand Sr.; and his siblings, Charles Thomas, Raymond Beaugrand Jr. and Cecelia Sanders. He is survived by: his wife Reece Humphreys; his daughters, Karen Bloomingburg (Jim), Beth Lewis (Rob) and Lauren Cole (Dustin); his grandchildren, Ian Cole, Benjamin Lewis, Addison Cole, Tobie Bloomingburg, Madeline Lewis, Everett Bloomingburg and Prezlee Smith; his stepdaughters, Hallie Smith (Paula), Mattie Smith (Wilson) and Jennifer Smith; his parent Grace Beaugrand; and his siblings, Steve Thomas (Gina), David Sanders (Romni), Jimmy Shaw (Kathy), Linda McDuffy and Dewania Sanders. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, gifts may be made in his honor to the Heart and Vascular Center at the MUSC Foundation.
