It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Emily L. Smith of Charleston, South Carolina, who passed away on December 22, 2023, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She is survived by: her siblings, Lora L. McQueen (Jerome), Anthony Jenkins (Elenora) and Miriam D. Smith; her friend LaRaine K. Jenkins; her nieces and nephews, Anjeanette Lawson Greene (Craig), Tambree Greer, Jackie Lawson (Lynell), William Lawson (Antionette) and Craig Green (Denise); her goddaughters, Kia Wright Jones and Amber Sade'McCoy; her great-nieces and great-nephews, Treasure, KiAsia, Adonis, Jayla, Trinity, Joshua, Craig, Jr., Kayla and Dallas; and her cousins, Whaley, Weston, Middelton, Smith, Alston and McCoy.
