She was predeceased by: her parents, Alfred Emmanuel Dufour and Kathryn Louise Baker; her husband Charles Ford Rivers, Jr.; her daughter Kathryn Ann Rivers; her great grandchild Kathryn Grace Rivers; and her brother Alfred Edmondston Dufour.
She is survived by: her children, Elizabeth Dufour Rivers, Charles Ford Rivers, III (Beth) and Christopher Rivers (Christopher Miller); her grandson Charles Ford Rivers IV (Blair); her children, Robert West Rivers and Caroline Rivers Gencdur (Ozgur); her great grandchild Elizabeth Jean Rivers; and her stepgrandchildren, Caroline Rhode and James G. Rhode, III. She is also survived by numerous nieces nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
