He was predeceased by: his parents, Willie Bennett and Flossie Bennett; and his siblings, Leon Bennett, Lillie Richardson, Josephine McNiel, Rosa Grant, Willie Bennett and Louise Bennett.
He is survived by: his children, Barbara Jones, Patrisha Toxey, Earnest Bennett Jr., Felisha Bennett, Beatice Bennett and Shamonda Bennett; his grandchildren, Omariah, Tiara, Zana, Saige, Rasheeda, Yasin, Abdul, Shadhidah, Aqeelah, Sabirah, Muhammad, Luqman, Inshirah, Samirah, ShaToria, Tavares, Patrick, Desirae, Jayde and Chataya; and his sisters, Barbara Bennett and Flossie O'Garro. He is also survived by seven great-grand children.
Viewing was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Smith-McNeal Funeral Chapel (2119 Dorchester Rd, North Charleston, SC 29405).
