It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dorothy Parnell Burkhardt of Charleston, South Carolina, who passed away on October 19, 2023, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Lester Parnell and Lucille Millar Parnell; and her children, Cheryl B. Woods of Summerville, SC, Terri B. Ann Ostrom of Summerville, SC and Ned Burkhardt.
She is survived by: her daughter Traci B. Jones (Preston) of Charleston, SC; her sister Betty P. Cosby; and her grandchildren, Ashley Rosensteel (Christopher), Amanda Donohue, Eddie Donohue, Laurin Jones and Lynsie Jones. She is also survived by three great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.
