With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Dora Butler Frasier of Charleston, South Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 30, 2025 at the age of 77. Though her name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Dora Butler leaves upon the hearts of her loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of her spirit and the richness of her legacy.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Alonzo Butler and Wilhelmena Capers Butler; her siblings, Louise Edwards, Joseph Butler, Charles Butler, Raymond Butler, Karen Butler and Henrietta Washington; and her uncle Harold Butler.
She is survived by: her son Arkell Edwards; and her niece TyShawn Brown. She is also survived by other relatives and friends.
