She was predeceased by: her parents, Ethel Estelle (Byrd) and Richard Paul Krause, Sr.; her husband Basil Wayne Atwood, Sr.; her brother Richard Paul Krause, Jr.; and her grandson Patrick M. Boynton.
She is survived by: her children, Basil Wayne Atwood, Jr. (Teresa) of Florence, SC, Michael Atwood of San Diego, CA, Eric Atwood (Margaret) of Charleston, SC and Meri Lynn Boynton (Marty) of Charleston, SC; and her brothers, Darrel Krause (Louise) and John Krause (Sonia) of Florida. She is also survived by grandchildren; and four great grandchildren.
A celebration of life was held on Saturday, April 5th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the James Island Presbyterian Church (1632 Fort Johnson Rd, Charleston, SC 29412).
