It is with great sadness that we announce the death of David W. Blount Jr. of Charleston, South Carolina, who passed away on March 3, 2024, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, David W Blount, Sr. and Kate Kirkland Blount. He is survived by: his son David W Blount, III of Darlington, SC; and his siblings, Brenda Smith (Wayne) of Central, SC, Wayne Blount (Linda) and Neal Blount (Darlene) of Charleston, SC. He is also survived by two nieces, one nephew, as well as two grandnephews and four grandnieces.
