He was predeceased by: his parents, Daniel C. J. Coleman, Sr. and Betty Parker Coleman; and his brother David Brian Coleman. He is survived by: his siblings, Kevin Coleman (Marie), Marty Coleman (Shirley), Peggy Lawton, Mary Kauser (Jan), Patty Queen (Terry) and Katie Smith (Tom); his children, Daniel Carey Coleman III (Vesna) and Catherine Cox (Thomas); his stepchildren, Zach (Kaliegh), Creedence (Matt), Miles, Forrest and Cullen; and his grandchildren, Thomas Rutledge Cox (Cate Mathewes Cox) and Heidi (Bailey).
