She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, James Willard and Mildred McClary McCutchen; her spouse Blakeley Durant Mercer; her children, Angelia Mercer Baker (Bob) and Jeffrey Blakeley Mercer (Crystal); her sisters, Justine Matthews, Cynthia Robinson (Bobby) and Charlene McKenzie (Joe); her grandchildren, Chelsea Fulton (Tayler), Blake Baker (Erica), Macyn Page Baker, Brandon Mercer (Marissa) and Travis Mercer (Desirae); her great grandchildren, Lachlan Fulton, Sullivan Fulton, Sierra Baker (SiSi) and Sawyer Mercer; and her sisters, Carol Gandy and Darlene Miles.
The family requests memorial donations be made in Clarice's honor to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
