It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Catherine Smith of Charleston, South Carolina, born in New York, New York, who passed away on February 29, 2024, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Rosemary Sanko Healy and Thomas P. Healy; and her sisters, Mary Pamela Landry and Sarah Healy. She is survived by: her husband Malcolm Smith; her children, Sarah Young (Ronald Savage, Jr.), Julia Smith and Chase Smith Smith (Amanda); her grandchildren, Brianna Savage, Ronny Savage, Colton Smith and Penelope Smith; and her sister Ann Healy. She is also survived by mom, not only to her own children, but to their friends, her grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
