He was predeceased by: his parents, Grady Hamilton Charpia and Alice L. Knight; and his siblings, Pansy Leppert, Betty Charpia, Zernie and Wayne Charpia.
He is survived by: his children, Jessica Tucker of Ocala, FL, Darenda Schwartz of Citra, FL and Carl "Rik" Charpia, Jr. of Apple Creek, OH; and his siblings, Marsha Charpia, Linda Reeves, Joyce Duncan, Diane Miller and Ken Charpia. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
