Bobby Neal Phipps Sr. Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Bobby Neal Phipps Sr. of Charleston, South Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 12, 2025 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ethel Hooks and Ed Phipps. He is survived by: his wife Joann Bodiford Phipps; his children, Bobby Phipps, Jr. (Kelli) and Karen Phipps Searson (Chip); his grandchildren, Colby, Carly, Carsyn, Caylee Searson, Layne Manos (Bobby) and Blaze Phipps; and his great grandchildren, Hayes and Henry Manos.
Visitation was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the James A. McAlister Chapel (1620 Savannah Hwy, Charleston, SC 29407). A memorial service was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
