He was predeceased by: his parents, Joe McKenzie and Sara McKenzie; and his siblings, Johnny McKenzie, Katie McKenzie and Hartwell McKenzie.
He is survived by: his wife Joyce Cannon McKenzie; his sons, William Joseph (Bill) and Gregory Lee (Greg); and his grandchildren, William Joseph McKenzie, Jr. (Mac), Frances Christian McKenzie (Frannie), Madison Taylor McKenzie (Mattie) and Hewitt Joseph McKenzie.
A graveside service was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Mount Pleasant Memorial Gardens (1308 Mathis Ferry Rd, Mt Pleasant, SC 29464).
