She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Isaac Waterhouse and Gertrude Mae Nye Waterhouse; her husband Doyt Lee Johnson; her brothers, Bob, Tommy and Dickie Waterhouse; her daughter-in-law Kris Johnson; and her pet Penny.
She is survived by: her sons, Phil Johnson (Melissa) of Chappells, SC, Kirby Johnson of Hephzibah, GA, Scott Johnson (Vickie) of Shelby and Douglas Johnson (Megan) of Cheshire, CT; her sisters, Jenny Foster of Thomasville and Sue Sowers of Thomasville; her grandchildren, Brandon, Ashley, Daniel, Kelly, Devon, Andy, Tyler, Will, Lucas, Matthew and Meighan; and her great grandchildren, Abram, Addy, Grayson, Carson, McKinley, Coleman, Colton, Ella, Wynn, Austin, Wyatt, Everett, Cash and Kahn. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 24th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Stamey-Tysinger Funeral Home (846 E Stage Coach Trail, Lawndale, NC 28090). A funeral service will be held on Monday, November 25th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Lawndale Methodist Church.
