He was predeceased by: his father William F Pierce. He is survived by: his wife Marcia Pierce; his children, William A Pierce (Bill) of Columbia, SC and Beth Pierce Meredith; his son-in-law Robert Meredith of Mt Pleasant, SC.; and his siblings, Alice Leskovec (Ed) of Chardon and Robert (Pat) of Poolsville, MD. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
