She was predeceased by: her parents, James Watkins and Nancy Carolyn Greene; her sisters, Nancy Scott Quick and Carolyn Dee McPhaul; and her son Alec Jefferson Hadwin.
She is survived by: her stepfather Alec Taylor Brown; her daughters, Paula Alexander of Columbia and Catherine Hadwin Ross (Gary) of Chapin; and her grandchildren, Lauren Hoover, Thorne Hadwin (Randall), Megan Groves (Brian), Jaclyn Alexander, Summer Alexander, Bella Alexander, Jack Hadwin, Taylor Ross, Saint Hadwin and Gisele Hacker Hadwin. She is also survived by six great-grandchildren.
