He was predeceased by: his parents, Gary Rothell and Martha Shealy Martin; and his half-siblings, Shelby Kibler Webb and Ronald Kibler. He is survived by: his wife Julieta Martin of Chapin, SC; his daughter Johanne; his son-in-law Doug Sullivan of Irmo, SC; his grandson Brian Douglas Sullivan, Jr.; his half-brother Kemper Shealy Kimber of Chapin, SC; his nephew Kemper Shealy Kibler, Jr. of Williamsburg, VA; and his nieces, Susan and Paula Kibler Higashida.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 6th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Whitaker Funeral Home - Chapin (939 Chapin Rd, Chapin, SC 29036). A funeral service was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. Jacob's Lutheran Church (844 Columbia Ave, Chapin, SC 29036).
