It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Maurice A. Desrosiers (Chapin, South Carolina), who passed away on October 25, 2023, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his sisters, Germaine, Violet, Rolande, Noella, Julie and Theresa; his goddaughter Valerie Earnshaw; and his parent Rosilda L'Abee Desrosiers.
He is survived by: his wife Rose Desrosiers; his son Mark; his daughter-in-law Virginia Desrosiers; his pet Teddy; his sons, Dr. Stephen Desrosiers (Sandi) of Sidney, ME and Jeffrey Desrosiers (Paula) of Winslow, ME; his grandchildren, Kimmie Kern (Jake) of Seattle, WA, Rachael Bean (Caleb) of Sidney, ME, Sarah Desrosiers of Waterville, ME and Bethany Desrosiers of Portland, ME; his great grandchild Genevieve Bean of Sidney, ME; his sister Claire Gosselin; his goddaughter Nancy Cassidy of Bradford, MA; his friend Yvonne Arlequeeuw of Lawrence, MA.; and his stepfather Charles Deschene.
