It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Mallory McCants Gibson of Chapin, South Carolina, born in Columbia, South Carolina, who passed away on January 15, 2023, at the age of 37, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her grandparents, Percy and Adma McCants. She is survived by: her parents, Daniel P. McCants and Maggie Shaw (Bo); her husband Charlie Gibson; her children, Griffin, Cohen, Cayden, Banks, Keller and Wells; her sisters, Meredith Dieppe (Bubba) and Lindsay Smith (Matt); and her grandparents, Harold and Myrt Minter (family: Mallory). She is also survived by her 4 nieces and 3 nephews, and many friends and family.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be sent to St. Jude Children's Hospital in remembrance of Mallory, or donations can be made to a fund to be established for her children's education.
