It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lovic Alton Brooks III (Chapin, South Carolina), born in Anderson, South Carolina, who passed away on November 22, 2022, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Lovic Alton Brooks, Jr. and Carrie Alice Jenkins Brooks; and his sister Catherine L. Brooks. He is survived by: his wife Nancy Phillips Brooks; his daughters, Courtney Altizer (Clay), Erin Hamby, Laura Ashley Brooks (Daniel Wilson), Leslie Ann Brooks and Carrie Clare "CeCe" Brooks; his sisters, Margaret Kelley (Lynn), Debbie Keller (Tom), Alice Bowen and Susan Pitts (Larry); and his grandchildren, Cora Altizer, Cale Altizer, Lauren Curry, Mary Kate Curry and Natalie Curry. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
