She was predeceased by: her father-in-law David E. Adam; and her brother-in-law Steven Adam. She is survived by: her parents, John Hay Burriss and Rebecca Andrews Burriss; her children, Reese McMaster Adam of Chapin, Elizabeth Andrews Adam of Chapin and Beau Buchanan Adam of Chapin; her siblings, John Hay Burriss, Jr. (Kayce) of Chapin and Catherine Andrews Tuttle of Chapin; her mother-in-law Ruth E. Adam of Lexington; and her brother-in-law Douglas P. Adam (Jenn) of Lexington.

A memorial service was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Chapin Presbyterian Church (600 Old Lexington Hwy, Chapin, SC 29036). A reception was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. Visitation was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 at 11:30 PM at the same location.
