We are sad to announce that on January 24, 2025, Llewellyn Golson Hiott Hames of Chapin, South Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Capers Hiott and Annette Golson Hiott; and her grandsons, Andrew Wesley Nash and Maxwell Joseph Lampl. She is survived by: her husband Herbert J. Hames, Sr.; her children, Annette H. Nash (Ken), Herbert, Jr. (Tami) and Patricia H. Lampl (George); her grandchildren, Jacob, Wesley Hames, Margaret Lampl and Jonathan Nash; her brother J. Capers Hiott (Suzanne) of Sumter; and her sister-in-law Ethelyn Hames Boozer of Edisto.
A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Union United Methodist Church (7582 Woodrow St, Irmo, SC 29063). Visitation was held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 at 4:00 PM at the West End Cemetery.
