It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Kathleen Gamble Payne of Chapin, South Carolina, born in Florence, South Carolina, who passed away on July 6, 2022, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, William Edward Gamble and Eleese Tiller Gamble. She is survived by: her children, Ashley Sawyer Stallings of North Augusta, SC and Henry Todd Sawyer (Kelly) of Irmo; her grandchildren, John Lewis "Trey" Stallings, III, William Sawyer "Will" Stallings and Eleese Marie Sawyer; and her sisters, Ellen Gamble Baker (Hubert "Boo") and Donna Gamble Foster (Lang). She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and other extended family.
