He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Nicholson and Ethel Patricia Nicholson; his brother Chauncey Fox; and his brother-in-law Donald Hughes. He is survived by: his close friends, Charlotte and Boomer; his sister Patricia "Libby" Olivia Hughes; his son Harold Nicholson (Melissa); and his granddaughter Sidney Nicholson. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in Harold's name to a local animal shelter, honoring his passion and commitment to the welfare of animals.
