She is survived by: her husband Gettis Arthur Bowers; her children, Artie Glenn Bowers of Roselle, NJ, Kim Allen Bowers, David Earl Bowers of Chapin, SC and Rosalyn Bowers of Columbia, SC; and her siblings, Rebecca Baxter of Linden, NJ, Carolyn Cooper of Florence, SC, Thomasina Eigner of Newberry, SC, Earl Baxter and Larry Baxter of Newberry, SC. She is also survived by ten grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren, two daughters-in-law, three sisters-in-law, other relatives and friends.
