With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Alice Ruth Harmon of Chapin, South Carolina, born in Batesburg-Leesville, South Carolina, who passed away on January 4, 2024 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, John Riley and Ruth Lindler Riley; and her brothers, Ralph Riley, Don Riley and James Riley.

She is survived by: her husband James "Buddy" Harmon; her sons, Allen Harmon (Tamra) of California, Neil Harmon of Charleston and Chris Harmon (Amanda) of Spartanburg; and her siblings, Edith Riley Wessinger of Chapin and John David Riley of Chapin. She is also survived by six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to Meals on Wheels or Miracle Hill, 189 N. Forest Street, Spartanburg, SC 29301.
