We are sad to announce that on July 9, 2019, at the age of 79, John D. Chism Jr. (Central, South Carolina), born in Mount Pleasant, Texas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Chism and Velma Chism; and his wife Carolyn. He is survived by: his son John D. Chism III; his siblings, Wesley, Ray, Doyle, Willard and Vivian Hatley; his children, Joey Chism of Clemson, Stephanie Davis (George) of Central, Kim Chism-Moore (Thomas, Jr.) of Charleston and Jennifer Misko (David) of Simpsonville; his grandchildren, Krystal, Kelly Rae Cannon of Clemson and Sabrina Moore of Charleston; and his siblings, Henry Chism of Greer and Virginia McAbee of Travelers Rest.
The family requests in lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
