She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Douglass and Nettie Douglass; her son Allan Small; and her sisters, Evelyn Belmonte, Lena Bernier and Verna Williams.
She is survived by: her children, Bernice Whitaker (Donnie) and Lester Small (Carol) of LeLand, NC; and her sisters, Beatrice Pulsifer of Florida and Barbara Douglass of California. She is also survived by eight grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren, and three great-great grandchildren.
