He was predeceased by: his parents, Rufus Karns and Ruth Karns; and his wife Elizabeth Canterbury. He is survived by: his children, Brenda Bagley (Robert) of Seneca, SC, Don Karns (Laura) of Central, Sheryl Dennis (Jeff) and John Karns (Debbie) of Walhalla; his grandchildren, Joshua, Tracy, Mary Beth, Meredith, Kathryn, Charlsie, Charldon and Meagan; and his great grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Kevin, Cameron, Liesyl and Mabry.
