He was predeceased by: his parents, Mae Gugliomotti Cappiello and Ralph Paul Cappiello; and his daughter-in-law Rebecca Cappiello. He is survived by: his wife Loretta Regina Volkens Cappiello; his sons, Coby Dennis Cappiello of Leesville, SC and Tory Robert Cappiello (Catherine) of Spartanburg; his stepdaughter Ashley Volkens of Easley, SC; his grandchildren, Austin Cappiello, Hannah Cappiello, Caroline Cappiello, Paul Cappiello and Connor Volkens-Donoghue; and his great grandchildren, Branson and Landan Cappiello.
A graveside service was held on Saturday, April 12th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Greenlawn Memorial Gardens (1300 Fernwood Glendale Rd, Spartanburg, SC 29307).
