She was predeceased by: her father Earl Lucas; and her significant other John Vinson. She is survived by: her daughter Lona "Chrysty" Hutto; her former husband Michael E. Lucas; and her siblings, Deborrah L. Mote, Timothy E. Hutto (Stephanie) and Ruth A. Blake. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews and adopted family.
