We are sad to announce that on October 7, 2020 we had to say goodbye to Lajean Battles Griffin of Cayce, South Carolina, born in Cherokee, Alabama. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, William Stanley and Augusta Barclay Battles; her children, Scott Griffin (Wendy) and Ann Griffin Derrick (Mike); her grandsons, Nathan Griffin (Heather), Trey Derrick and Travis Derrick; her great grandchildren, Oliver Griffin and Caydance Derrick; her husband Norman Elbert Griffin; and her daughters, Susan and Debra.

Masks will be required and social distancing guidelines will be in place.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Connie Maxwell Children's Home, State Street Baptist Church, or the charity of one's choice.
