She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Jeff and Julia Elizabeth Aiken; her husband Melvin Clyde Horton, Sr.; and her son Melvin Clyde Horton, Jr.. She is survived by: her daughter Elizabeth Dawn Horton; and her granddaughter Caroline Horton.
