He was predeceased by: his parents, Melton Bryant Laird and Pauline Evans Laird; and his sisters, Dorris Alexander and Mavis Love. He is survived by: his wife Carol Gay Williamson Laird of Cayce; his children, Bryant Laird (Olivia) and Ashley Amole (John); and his sister Betty Ann Sallis of Baton Rouge, LA. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
