She was predeceased by: her husband Floyd Dallas McMurray; her parents, Cornelius Burch and Lucile Daughtry Mixon; and her siblings, Frances Mixon Lucas of Winnsboro, SC, C. Eldridge Mixon and Dr. K. Wayne Mixon of Martinez, GA..

She is survived by: her daughter Terri Wright Petitt of Columbia, SC; her grandson Dallas Wright (Alexandria) of Bluffton, SC; and her son Kenneth Floyd McMurray (Jodi) of Cayce, SC. She is also survived by six nephews and 2 nieces, and a number of great nephews and nieces, and great-great nephews and nieces.
