She was predeceased by: her parents, Clifford Lee and Janie Mae Bevis; her husband Francis Alvin "Boogie" Taylor; and her son Edward Lee Taylor. She is survived by: her son Al Taylor (Wendy); her grandchildren, Alexandra and Ethan; and her sister Patricia Robinson.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to First Baptist Church of Columbia, 1306 Hampton Street, Columbia, SC 29201.
