He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Leach and Alma Leach; his siblings, Dianne Loop and Robert Leach; and his son-in-law Eric Shell.

He is survived by: his daughters, Amanda Shell and Sherry Ray (David); his grandchildren, Ansley Shell, Landon Shell and Ashlynn Ray; and his daughter Mary Leach. He is also survived by former wife, mother of his children, and lifelong friend.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Heart Association, 190 Knox Abbott Drive, Ste. 301, Cayce, South Carolina 29033.
