With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Cheryl Darlene Derrick (Cayce, South Carolina), who passed away on February 4, 2025 at the age of 61. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, George Whigham, and Evelyn Whigham, Jr. (White); her husband Charles "Rick" Derrick, Jr.; and her brother Kenny Whigham. She is survived by: her sister Nancy McCall (Ken) of Greenville, SC; her sisters-in-law, Cindy Whigham of Fort Mill, SC, Anne Johnson of Woodford, SC and Margaret Vest (Larry) of Gaston, SC; her children, Christopher Branham (Courtney) of Lexington, SC and Ashleigh Branham of Columbia, SC; her stepdaughter Sarah Derrick of Hopkins, SC; and her grandchildren, Jayda Mays, Caroline, Christian, Charlotte and Carson Branham. She is also survived by nieces, cousins.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 at 4:00 PM at the Trinity Baptist Church (2003 Charleston Hwy, Cayce, SC 29033). A reception will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 at 5:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Trinity Baptist Church, 2003 Charleston Highway, Cayce, SC 29033. Honor Cheryl Derrick's memory by donating to a cause they cared about.
