She was predeceased by: her parents, Moultrie Thomas and Josephine Sasser Thigpen; her husband Cecil A. Riley; her brothers, Wayne "Sonny" and Ronald Thigpen; and her children-in-law, Nancy Riley and Chuck Nabors.

She is survived by: her grandsons, Christopher Riley, Timothy Riley, Riley Hitchcock, Zac Nabors, Collin Riley and Landon Riley; her children, Larry (Judy Riley), Phil (Rhonda Riley), Linda (J. D. Hitchcock) and Robin Riley Nabors of Knoxville, Tennessee; her grandchildren, Tara Riley, Tyler Hitchcock (Kristen), Erica Nabors Alger (Aaron), Micaela and Caelin Riley; and her great grandchildren, Briquet and Linda Hodges.
