She was predeceased by: her parents, James Acton Weems and Vera Betty Summerfield Weems; her siblings, James David Weems and Elaine Weems Crider; and her granddaughter Haley Nicole Meetze.
She is survived by: her husband Robert Maddison Birchmore; her children, Vera Elizabeth "Betty" Edwards (Cleve) and William Edward "Bill" Jones (Donya); her grandchildren, Drew, Michelle, Casey, Taylor and Ryan; her nephews, Ronnie Dawkins (Jeuli), Chris Dawkins (Lisa) and John Dawkins (Wilbur); and her sisters-in-law, Pat, Lissa and Laurie Birchmore.
A celebration of life was held on Sunday, March 30th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at 120 New Orangeburg Rd, Lexington, SC 29073.
