She was predeceased by: her spouse Jesse Garrett Jackson; her parents, Earl Bowers "Bub" and Ethel Gantt Shumpert; her siblings, Cyrus Shumpert, Ray Shumpert, Earl Albert Shumpert, Alma Cofer and Mildred Baker; and her granddaughter Karen Jackson.
She is survived by: her stepson Robert Jackson (Betty); and her granddaughters, Connie and Tangee. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
