She was predeceased by: her husband Al H. Sturgis, Jr.; and her daughter Sharon D. Sturgis. She is survived by: her son Al H. Sturgis III; her wife Sheila Sturgis of Kershaw, SC; her daughter Kay S. Merrell (Dennis) of Rock Hill; and also Ray Sturgis (Louise) of Rock Hill. She is also survived by seven grandchildren and fifthteen great-grandchildren.
