He was predeceased by: his parents, Wade Whittington and Blanch Fletcher Whittington; and his brothers, Bobby and Marvin Whittington. He is survived by: his stepson Charles B "Doug" Horton, Jr. (Linda); his sisters, Margie Harmon of Columbia, SC and Margaret Galliher; his sister-in-law Vivian "Skeet" Robinson; and his stepgrandchildren, Heather Mosley (Jeremy) and Chuck Horton (Lindsey). He is also survived by 4 step-great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews and his longtime 4 legged companion.
