He was predeceased by: his parents, James Furman and Octavia Helms Hardin; and his siblings, Geraldine Hinson, Furman Hardin, Ralph Hardin and Robert Ray Hardin.
He is survived by: his wife Dianne Robinson Hardin; his children, Marshall Lee Hardin II (Angie) of Kershaw, Darrell Hardin (Danielle) of Cassatt and Amanda Hardin (Ralph McLeod) of Camden; his siblings, James Arnold Hardin, Grover Hardin, Marie Sulzer, Matrell Causey, Patsy Smith and Myra LaFoy; his grandchildren, Trey Hardin, Robert Hardin, Brittany Hardin, Sarah Hardin of Alisiana Hardin, D. J, Tyler Freeman and Kristin Freeman; and his great grandchild Briah Williams.
