It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of John Kevin Doane of Cassatt, South Carolina, born in Washington, District of Columbia, who passed away on January 2, 2021, at the age of 63, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Catherine Rose Cahill Doane and Charles Sumner Doane Jr.; his brother Charles Sumner Doane III; and his granddaughter Everly Dawn Pierce. He is survived by: his wife Paula Doane; his children, Kevin Doane and Kelsi Pierce (Robert II); his grandson Colton William Pierce; his brother Daniel Joseph Doane Sr. (Anne); his nieces and nephews, Cathy Doane, Colleen Doane, Nancy Doane, Patrick Doane and Daniel Doane Jr. (Kristen); his siblings-in-law, Mike Padgett (Sharon), Gary Padgett (Regina), Debbie Craig (Jimmy) and Cecelia Doane; and his brother Jesse Lee Sandy Jr.. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, great-great nieces and nephews, and numerous loving friends.
Due to Covid-19, the family will hold a celebration of life memorial service at a later date.
