He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Fremont and Anna Swearing Martin. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Walck Martin; his daughters, Lisa Sumner of Columbia, SC and Teresa Bartschat of Camden, SC.; and his sister Shirley Cotton (Merle) of Illinois. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandson.
