It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Edith Geraldine Griffin Peebles (Cassatt, South Carolina), born in Clinton, South Carolina, who passed away on December 20, 2019, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Lizzie Ree Sims and Johnny Blease Griffin; her husband Charlies B. Peebles; and her brothers, Virgil and John Griffin.
She is survived by: her children, Deborah Rhodus (Billy) of Camden, Tammy Colvin (Murdock) of Camden, Travis B. Peebles (Amy) of Cassatt, Steve Peebles (Pat) of Cassatt and Charlie C. Peebles (Jeanie) of Cassatt; and her sister Frances Munnerlyn. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren.
