With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Richard L. Morrison Sr. of Carlisle, South Carolina, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. He was predeceased by: his parents, Marion Harvey Morrison and Evelyn Crouch Morrison; and his brothers, Harvey Morrison, Ira Morrison and Wylie Morrison.
He is survived by: his wife Diane Holt Morrison; his children, Richard L. Morrison, Jr. (Tammy) of Chester, Angie Morrison Leonard of Blackstock, Karen Morrison Turner (Jason) of Chester, Denise Morrison of Lancaster, David Stroud (Michelle) of Kershaw, Jamie Stroud (Sherry) of Elgin and Brian Stroud of Myrtle Beach; and his siblings, Vance Morrison of Great Falls, Frank Morrison of Chester, Katie Reeves of Great Falls and Eunice Brown (Ralph) of Tallapoosa, AL. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Sunday, March 2nd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Dantzler-Baker Funeral Home (26 Underwood Ave, Great Falls, SC 29055). A memorial service was held on Sunday, March 2nd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
