Walter Hammitt Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Walter Hammitt of Campobello, South Carolina, who passed away on May 10, 2021 at the age of 76. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Leo Joshua and Geneva Hagan Hammitt; and his siblings, Doug, Leon Hammitt and Wanda Moore.
He is survived by: his wife Renee Elizabeth Gosnell Hammitt; his children, Walter Charles Hammitt, Jr., Joseph Walter Hammitt, Donna Ann Hammitt and Katherine Olivia Hammitt; his siblings, Jeff Hammitt and Debbie Hammitt; and his grandchildren, Adyn Leo Johnson, Kyri Elise Johnson, Brandy Hammitt, Chris Hammitt, David Hammitt, Cindy Hammitt and Casey Hammitt. He is also survived by two great grandchildren.
